Career Counselling

The Career counselling and Placement Cell of Govt. Gen Degree College, Keshiary is actively engaged in guiding and moulding students to their future career. The college is actively engaged in this via various means:

1. The Career counselling and Placement Cell organises seminars, workshops from Govt./non-govt. and various other sources that help students realise their capabilities in the job market and orient themselves to launch jobs according to their qualification and preferences.
2. Organising regular meetings/seminars from various training organisations (both from Govt. and private sector) that conduct short term training courses for participation of students and subsequent job offers after successful completion of such.
3. The committee encourages and organises various activities regarding above mentioned aspects that help students gain insights about their career prospects and potential.
4. The concerned committee along with all the faculties of the college provide regular guidance to students regarding their future depending on their capabilities in informal ways.
