Bhasha Dibas Celebration

The International Mother Language Day was observed by the faculty and students of the College on 21st of February. Students and teachers from the various language and literature departments came forward to actively participate in a series of cultural programmes that were organised and presented under the guidance of the cultural committee. The Principal of the College and the heads of various language and literature departments also deliberated on the significance of the day and the necessity to keep the spirit of the sacrifice of Bhasha Shahids alive.

Republic Day Celebration

The college celebrates Republic Day every year within its premises with a cultural program. The various performances by the faculty members and students bear testament to the spirit of unity and camaraderie that prevails in the college.

Rabindra Jayanti Celebration

Every year Tagore’s birth anniversary was celebrated with a spectacular cultural programme organised by the cultural committee of the College. Spontaneous participation of many students and teachers made the programme a huge success. They performed on different songs, dance recitals, and poems of Tagore.

Independence Day Celebration

The college celebrates Independence Day every year within its premises with a cultural program. Many teachers and students of the college participate and perform to celebrate the day in a grand way. The various performances by the faculty members and students bear testament to the spirit of unity and camaraderie that prevails in the college. This year the college celebrated the 75th year of Independence (Azadi ki Amrit Mahotsav) with a great endeavour.

Teachers’ Day Celebration

On 5th September the college celebrates teachers day in commemoration of dr. Radhakrishnan who was a staunch believer of education. The programme is organised by a cultural committee with the help of all teachers and students.

Vidyasagar Jayanti

Every year Vidyasagar birth anniversary was celebrated with a thoughtful cultural programme organised by the cultural committee of the College.

Santali Bhasha Divas

Every year the Santali Bhasa Divas is celebrated on 22 nd December with grace and enthusiasm. Cultural programmes are organised by the students of the Santali Departments with observation of traditional rituals, song and dance. The use of traditional musical instruments like Dhamsa, Nadal etc. add splendour to the event and the students of the college enjoy the day with great enthusiasm.
